Till now, Firefox, Internet Explorer 9+ versions use DirectWrite font rendering on Windows where Chrome has used Graphics Device Interface (GDI), as a result, fonts look much better hence text is more readable on Mozilla and Microsoft browsers than of Google’s. Chrome users now can rejoice, Google has enabled DirectWrite on Windows by default in Chrome 37 Beta and is available for download for testing.
