Windows 10 Task Manager gets Architecture Column

To let you know the architecture of a each running process in Windows 10 (whether it is  x86 or x64 or ARM or ARM64) Microsoft now allows to add new “Artchitecure” column to Details tab in Task Manager.

Task Manager component in Windows 10 shows information about processes running, their CPU, GPU activities and memory consumed in Processes and Performance tabs. Other tabs such as App History, Startup, Users, Details and services also offer useful info.

By default, Details tab in Task Manager provides the following data for each process: Name, PID, Status, Usern name, CPU and Memory. You can add other various coloumns to the tab, for instance Platform , which tells whether running process is of 32-bit or 64-bit, now to let you know the process running is of x86 or x64 or ARM64, Microsoft now allows to add architecture column to details  tab.

To add this, you need to open Task Manager, click on Details, to the right of last column right click and select “Select Columns”, tick Architecture in the list, done.

The change or new the Task Manager feature is currently available in Windows 10 Insider build 19541 and could be available to all Windows 10 users by the second half of 2020.
