How to remove Share and Give access to Context menu options in Windows 10?

In Windows 10 Fall Creators update, when you open File Explorer and right click on a file, you can now notice two new options in the context menu: Share and Give access to, former allows to send file to (contacts through) Mail and OneNote, and latter gives access to specific people.

If you want File explorer context menu in Windows 10 to be less bloated, you can remove unnecessary items such as these. Removing Share Context Menu option

1. Open Run dialog, type ‘regedit’ and press enter to get into Registry editor.

2. Navigate to below key in the registry and delete the ModernSharing subkey.

3. Exit registry editor and open File Explorer, now if you right click on a file, you’ll no longer see the Share option, it has been removed.

Removing Give access to Context Menu Option

1. Open File Explorer or This PC, click on View, Options

2. In the Folder Options window, click on View, under Advanced Settings, scroll down and uncheckUse Sharing Wizard

3. Click OK to apply the changes..
