Microsoft’s Show or Hide Updates Troubleshooter allows hiding the specific updates from being automatically installed. For months, the Troubleshooter download on the Microsoft Download center was broken. Recently, Microsoft has confirmed it has intentionally removed the tool due to dropping SHA1 signing and has republished on download center after resigning with SHA-2 cert.

If a Windows update or drive update is causing an issue on Windows 10 device, you can uninstall it.

To prevent Windows from reinstalling the problematic update when you check for updates, you can use Show or hide Troubleshooter to hide the update.

The tool download was broken for some time for now.

The issue has been brought to Microsoft’s attention.
