Though I’ve checked the site in early days forgot about it later as the days go by, if that’s the case with you and if you want to delete or deactivate Quora account after this shocking news, it is easy, here is how that can be done.
So you decided to get rid of the popular Q&A site Account that you don’t use, there are two ways you can dispose of your Quora account: 1. You can deactivate it.
2. Deleting Quora account is not reversible, so take a decision before proceeding, do either of these actions or leave Quora account untouched.
Deactivate Quora Account
1. Sign in to Quora with your username and password
2. Click on your Profile Pic, select Settings > Privacy
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Deactivate Account’, enter your password for confirmation, done.
Your Quora account will be deactivated, but not deleted.
Delete Quora Account
1. In the Quora Privacy Settings page, under Delete or Deactivate Account, click Delete Account
2. Enter your password.
Your Quora account will be deactivated and will be deleted after 14 days, the following information of will be removed when that happens.
- your profile information including bio and Photo
- your answers, comments, Blog posts, Votes, Endorsements, and Messages.
If you log back into the website in the next 14 days after deactivation, your account deletion will be canceled.
