Firefox 66.0.2 fixes Web Compatibility issues with Office 365

Recently, we’ve reported Mozilla stopped Firefox 66 rollout due to Powerpoint online bug, Mozilla today released Firefox 66.0.2 to fix that along with Microsoft Word,  Microsoft OneNote, iCould and IBM Webmail issues regressed because of recent changes made to the handling of key pressing events. The Update also fixes two crashes.

Bug 1521370: After updating to Windows 10 1809 if users install Microsoft Media feature pack, the Youtube Video, and Mozilla support forum website tabs crash repeatedly in Firefox browser.

Firefox 66.0.2 Release notes

  • Fixed Web compatibility issue with Office 365, iCloud, and IBM Webmail caused by recent changes to the handling of keyboard events (Bug 1538966)

Do note, recently Mozilla released Firefox 66.0.1 to address security vulnerabilities or issues researchers found at Pwn2Own, it was a security update. Version 66.0.2 is a stability update.
