You can’t disable Pocket in Firefox Nightly right now due to a bug

A bug has been found in Firefox Nightly version (stable not affected) related to Pocket where disabling the feature by visiting about:config and changing preference value extensions.pocket.enabled to false isn’t deactivating Pocket. Pocket Context menu entries – ‘Save Page to Pocket’ and ‘Save link to Pocket’ — and ‘View Pocket list’ in library panel still appears visible after restarting the browser. These should not be shown along with Pocket button in Page Actions menu is the expected result, Mozilla is aware of this issue and investigating to find a fix for the same.

Pocket disabling isn't working in Firefox

FYI, an year back Mozilla has acquired Read-it-later App Pocket and integrated it into Firefox and activity stream aka new tab page and is enabled by default, as a result, you can see its button in PA menu which appears when you click on three dots (…) button in address bar, option in page right-click menu to save page to pocket and list of items saved in library menu. It’s disabling of Pocket which is not working at the moment in Nightly version, but the feature itself is working without any issues.
