Vivaldi is one of the best web browser’s out there for desktop and Android. It comes with plenty of customization options and better theme support. Vivaldi latest snapshot update 3.3.2022.6 for Windows addressed an issue where users may not able to distinguish between Normal and private windows.
Vivaldi automatically colorizes the browser window with that of website/page you visit. Despite Vivaldi offers visual clues for its Private window such as separate intro page and black colored address and search bar to separate from normal window, some times, its hard to recognize which is private or normal when both are open.
“Our theme support is second to none but allowing you seemingly endless ways to colorize your windows has come at a price for some users. Outside of certain cues in the address bar, which can be hidden, it can be hard to tell normal and private windows apart. So we are providing even more options”.
Vivaldi now has new themes available for Private windows with new one enabled by default.

And you can able to choose from available Vivaldi, Human, Hot Pink, Subtle, Dark, Blueprint, Beach and Light by visiting settings > Themes > Private Window Theme.

We’re introducing a brand new “private” theme (applied by default) and also ability to set unique themes for normal and private windows.”

Looks pretty, but tabs are too close to the top of the browser. Firefox has the option to enable the menu bar which adds additional space to the top above the tabs. Users can use that to grab the top of the browser and move it to one side if there’s an annoying element of the page somewhere which is interfering with one’s concentration reading an article.
Judging by the lack of space above the tabs on Vivaldi I don’t think that would be possible and for that reason I won’t install it.
