Bitdefender Antivirus Free gets Quarantine Function

We’ve reviewed about Bitdefender Antivirus Free when it was released back in Dec 23, 2012, from then Bitdefender is working to improve it to compete with other free antiviruses in AV market like Avast, AVG and Avira. The latest program update 1.0.15.946 has added Quarantine function to AV which allows users to delete or restore or open containing folder for selected quarantined item or you can able to delete all quarantined items. You need to restart your computer after installing the update.

Quarantine function only appears on interface when you have files in it. Once Bitdefender quarantines a suspicious file or threat message for that will be showed on screen, by clicking on “Show files” in Quarantine function you can able to view all quarantined items and take necessary actions from there.
