Firefox 48.0.1 warns of Users about Hello Removal

We already know Firefox Hello will be removed from Firefox 49, Mozilla has recently released Firefox 48.0.1 to increase e10s activations to 10%, this update when installed, alerts users when they click on the Hello icon on the toolbar that ‘Heads up!  Firefox Hello will be removed from Firefox soon.’ and ‘Learn more link directs to Hello status page, which says ‘Support for Hello discontinued in Firefox 49’, the page also lists Hello alternatives, which we’ve already mentioned in our article.

Talky, Cisco Spark, Appear.in and Jisti Meet.

Mozilla promises to develop, WebRTC, the underlying technology for Hello. FYI, Firefox 49 will be released on September 13, 2016.
