Microsoft releases Office Online Extension for Chrome

Microsoft has released Office Online extension for Chrome browser, this extension lets you create and edit Office files in the browser. You can create Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sway and OneNote documents online, they’ll be saved to ‘Office Online extension‘ folder on your OneDrive folder.

After installing the extension, you need to sign into OneDrive account or OneDrive Business, and need to give the permission for the extension to view and access your OneDrive files. Click on Office icon and use ‘Create’ option to make new documents, you can also able to open office documents stored on OneDrive and on your computer from within chrome browser.
