In the build 10061, Microsoft has introduced a new black theme for Stat Menu, taskbar and Notification Area, they’ve disabled this theme for half of the insiders in the Windows 10 build 10074. If you’re one of those and want to enable dark/black theme again in this build, here is how you can do it.
Enabling dark theme in Windows 10 build 10074
1. Open Registry Editor by typing ‘regedit’ in the Run command
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionThemesPersonalize, on the right pane, change ‘EnableTransperency‘ value from ‘1’ from ‘0’.
3. Restart Windows Explorer to see the change.
