Firefox to Show Reset Notification if you haven’t used It for Months
What’s your take on this change? Are you going to use Refresh Firefox feature when needed? Let us know in the comments.
I had a problem at one time with the “reset” feature destroying some browser data, despite its claim to restore such things as cookies, bookmarks, certificates etc, after the “reset”.
So I will no longer allow Firefox to pull this trick on systems that I manage.
Best to just backup Firefox profiles regularly and if some problem occurs, restore from backup rather than risk the destruction that this “great feature” wreaks.
