Microsoft Promises a Fix for Explorer Crashes happening due to KB3074681 in Windows 10

Recently Microsoft has released KB3074681 update to insiders to resolve three vulnerabilities in Windows 10. After installing this update, insiders experienced Explorer crashes when they try to uninstall programs from Control Panel or when they try to disable Ethernet Adapter. Microsoft’s Insider Program head Gabriel Aul acknowledge the issue with kb3074681 and said the fix is coming.

In the meantime, you can use the modern Settings app or third-party Uninstaller like Revo to uninstall Programs. Meanwhile. today another update KB3074678 (link-doesn’t provide any information at the time of writing this post) has been released, seems this hasn’t fixed the explorer crash issue and it could be another security update.
