Twitter now allowing their users to email the tweets right from its website, so let us take a look at how to use this feature to share tweets with your friends or family members. Few days back Twitter announced in their blog that Twitter.com website got the ability to let everyone share tweet to anyone via email, those people you’re going to share tweets need not to be on Twitter.
Twitter’s Emailing Tweets Feature Arrives to my handle
To send any tweet via email
1. Sign into Twitter with your username and password, click on “More” icon next to Favorite below the tweet and click on “Email Tweet”,
2. On the next step enter email addresses of people, they can be your relatives or friends in To field, and type the comment and click on “Send email” button.
3. That’s it! Twitter sends that tweet to email addresses you mentioned above in a flash.
Don’t want these shared tweets to your email address? unsubscribing is the way to go
Twitter never discloses your email address to shared recipient and Twitter offers some sort of protection for users receiving emails like this as well to unsubscribe in future so that they’ll not receive tweets shared by other people with them.
If your inbox keep getting these type of emails I suggest you to use unsubscribe link offered in the shared tweet message you’ve received.
If they try to send tweet to same email address you opted out Twitter then denies by showing message “Right now you are not allowed to share this tweet with that email address”.
This feature is rolling out gradually, today we’ve got this feature to our twitter handle.
Have you got this feature to your Twitter handle? do you like this feature? are you going to use it? share with us in comments.
