Dropbox 1.6.5 stable build for Windows, Mac and Linux has been released and available for download. This release mainly intended for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard users where Dropbox to temporarily stop using Growl to display its notifications and switches to their built-in notification system. This version has also addressed two other issues.
Dropbox says “We’re still looking into how to fix this. However we don’t want you guys to miss on the notifications so this should downgrade to our own notifications instead of using Growl. “
