I still wonder how “ribbon” and “intuitive” can possibly fit into the same sentence. To me this is one of the worst ideas of a UI of all times.
I don’t need Nitro to ‘detect’ a scanned document. 99.9% of the time I already know that it’s scanned because *I* am the one who scanned it. It takes up half an inch of display space from the top of my document and given the number of documents I handle it’s a real annoyance to have to close it over and over and over. Anyone know how to turn it off? Bleh….
I agree with Al. I don’t know who thought that the ‘ribbon’ was a good idea. It’s a PITA on office, completely counter intuitive and wastes so much of my time searching for things that were super easy to find before. (not to mention the complete lack of customization now. I’m ready to go back to word 2003 so I can have the tools I use handy where I can get them without flipping through half a dozen ribbons) Thankfully Nitro is not as complex so there are less places for stuff to be hidden far away from their logical location.
