Cleanup or Completely Remove .NET Framework 4.5 with .NET Framework Cleanup Tool

We’ve recently covered about developer Aaron Stebner’s .NET framework Verification tool got support for Windows 8 and .NET framework 4.5, and another related utility from him, it’s .NET Framework Cleanup tool got an update today which has also added support for .NET framework 4.5 and Windows 8.

With this tool, you can now remove .NET framework 4.5 completely from your computer, and you should only use this tool as a last resort if you’re unable to uninstall or repair .NET framework version, because this tool does also remove shared files and registry entries related to other .NET framework on your computer, then you either need to repair or reinstall them after running this tool.

.NET framework cleanup tool has been updated to work with .NET framework 4.5 and Windows 8

.NET Framework Cleanup tool now supports Windows 8 and .NET framework 4.5

This tool is not from Microsoft, in fact, Microsoft has recently released .NET framework repair tool which also repairs .NET  products installed on your computer. So you’ve two tools to choose from in repairing .NET products, but Microsoft’s tool not yet updated to support on Windows 8 and .NET framework 4.5.

Using .NET framework Cleanup tool in Windows 8

Using the tool is easy. Download the program zip file, extract its contents to a folder and run cleanup_ tool, select .NET version you want to remove, click cleanup now button now.

Note: Read the readme file properly before attempting for the cleanup.

You should know this tool comes with logic, it doesn’t shows .NET framework version that comes included in Windows, for e.g when you run this tool, it doesn’t show .NET 3.5 in Windows 7 and similarly .NET 4.5 in Windows 8.

    WHY THIS TOOL DO NOT WORK (Admin mod, tried in 45 000 different way, NOTHING to solve my problem!!!)
