Download the program zip file, extract its contents to a folder and run ProcessActivityView executable, with minimalist and intuitive interface this program shows all processes running you need to select one to know which files accessed by that process right now, you can latter stop the program from tracking file activity of the process by selecting stop from File menu or by using F8 shortcut. You better succeed in testing by selecting Explorer.exe process.
You can generate HTML report for all/selected items from the view menu which may be useful for troubleshooting purposes.
