Windows 8 by default comes installed with some metro apps which you might not know, but by knowing them you can get a clear idea of what other metro style apps you’ve installed 0n your Windows 8 PC. Windows 8 overall offers 14 built-in apps, those are: Camera, Reader, Xbox Live games, music, video, SkyDrive, photos, (mail, calendar, people and messaging), solitaire, pinball FX 2, Maps, Finance and weather.
Find Which Metro Style Apps Comes preinstalled in Windows 8?
- To find them, open Windows Store by double clicking or tapping on its tile on start screen,
- Click on “Got apps?” tile which shows the list of all metro apps that comes preinstalled in Windows 8.
3.You can scull horizontally to view all the apps.
Looking at a brand new surface, but the Store doesn’t have the “Got Apps?” tile anymore. Since that was the only way to restore an app after it has been uninstalled it leaves me wondering what the new solution is. Any thoughts?
Its simple, you can find them in Store app, default apps are 15 I think. I mentioned names of 14 apps above and some are shown above on first screenshot as well.
