We’ve covered recently that downloads of apps and extensions in Chrome Web Store has been increased indirectly thanks to inline installations and Sub categories feature has been added to improve discoverability of apps, more improvements and new additions to Chrome web store like Trending View, Autocomplete for the search box, new app badges.
Trending View in Chrome Web Store
As Twitter got trending topics, Chrome Web Store got Trending View an early version which shows fastest growing apps from “warm” to “on fire”. You can find Trending on left side of the store below popular tab.
AutoComplete Search box
Search box in Chrome Web Store now lets you find app and extensions easily you’re looking for with autocomplete suggestions.
App badges
If you’re looking for some kind of apps with functionality like for e.g those work offline, you’ve new app badges which appears on top section of app’s landing page and you can click on them to view other apps with same functionality. These apps comes in two flavors –playable on Google+ and offline and more soon to be added.
Google+ Games on Chrome Web store to play
Google confirms almost all the Google+ games are available on Chrome Web store, recently new Google Plus game Kingdome Age has been added which is an addition to Native Client games like MiniNinja, Share on Meebo, My Chrome Theme and Google Play Movies.
