Security vendor Kaspersky released first beta of Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 for Windows 8 Consumer Preview with full support for new technologies and enhancements in WCP. Kaspersky calls this beta version as Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview and can be used by early adopters on Windows 8 beta for 3 months. Kaspersky says their product is fully compatible with Windows 8.
Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview features
Kaspersky has designed special security feature in this product to protect metro-style apps. This version also supports Microsoft early-launch anti-malware technology which protects users from rootkits and boot kits. Kaspersky promises this version doesn’t affect PC performance or the functioning of other applications .This beta version can be used for three months.
KIS technical preview integration with Windows Security Center
This technical preview is tightly integrated with Windows Security Center (WSC) in Windows 8 as you can able to update antivirus databases, activate various product features and deactivate the product, extending license terms directly from WSC.
