
BluetoothLogView is a freeware portable app from Nirsoft that creates a log of Bluetooth devices activity around you to let you know when persons near by your house (could be your neighbors or family members)having mobile with Bluetooth turned on arrives and lefts home. You need to have Bluetooth dongle connected to your PC for this app to work.
Every time when a new Bluetooth device arrives in your area and when the device leaves your area a new log line will be added on the program window with the information that includes: Device Name, Device Address, Event Time, Event Type (‘Device Arrival’ or ‘Device Left’), Device Type, and the company that created the device.

All you need to do is: connect your Bluetooth dongle and run BluetoothLogView executable file. The program will constantly scans for Bluetooth devices and add a new log line when any cell phone arrives your area and when that mobile phone leaves your area.
You can copy these log lines to clipboard or you can save selected log items into text/xml/csv/html file.
BluetoothLogView supports Windows versions that offers build-in support for Bluetooth like Windows XP/SP2/Vista/7 and this program works with the standard Bluetooth module of Windows XP/Vista/7.
