It’s a Window.. not a flag: Microsoft on Windows 8 Logo

Few days back, rumors spread on internet that Microsoft put an end to flag as Windows logo and they reimagined it as a window for upcoming Windows 8, so true! and confirmed by Microsoft today. Windows 8 logo is completely redesigned by Pentagram, you may miss the four-colored Windows flag but Microsoft says-Windows 8 is it self is  complete reimagination of Windows system, after analyzing Windows logo evolution they thought this logo matches the metro style design.

Microsoft approached the logo redesign with key goals on mind that logo should be resemble  metro design and typography and Microsoft always wanted their next generation Windows logo to look humble and confident.
