Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker utility is designed to disinfect registries of all Operating systems on your Computer. This utility can be launched when you start your Computer with Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 and allows you to work in graphic and text modes of Kaspersky Rescue disk.
Start Computer from Kaspersky Rescue Disk with Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker
1 . First download the Kaspersky Rescue Disk with WindowsUnlocker ISO image (2o0 MB) from Kaspersky Lab Server to your Computer and burn it to CD/DVD, you can record the same image to USB drive having Fat 16 or Fat 32 file system.
2. After successful creation of Kaspersky Rescue disk 10, insert the disk into CD/DVD Rom drive or connect the removable USB device and boot your Computer from it.
3. A message appears on press any key to enter the menu, press any key – startup wizard loads with graphical user interface select English or other language . As we said above kaspersky Rescue disk available in graphic and text modes, those startup methods are shown on the screen.
4. Select either of the mode and press Enter, End User license agreement appears on screen agree it to by pressing C key on your keyboard.
Linux OS now starts and detect devices and OSes installed on your Computer, once your Windows OS is booted you can start working with it.
Launching Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker
If you’ve booted Rescue disk in graphic mode, click on Start button located at the left bottom corner and select Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker item.
If you’ve booted rescue disk in text mode, select Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker by using arrow keys up and down and press Enter button.
The utility automatically starts and disinfects the registry. Results of performed actions will be displayed in the root window. If the root log file contains info about successfully performed actions, for example, Registry hive "path" opened successfully and "path" – suspicious value "value" deleted, then the utility has successfully ended its work on your computer
