CCleaner the popular system cleaning tool from Piriform removes temp files in your Computer to reclaim your hard drive space and also protects your privacy by cleaning traces from of your online activities, if you don’t know CCleaner relies on rules defined in Winapp2.ini file to clean Windows and apps left over entries in your Computer. It adds the new rules and definitions to Winapp.ini file of CCleaner which is located under “C:\Program Files\CCleaner” directory. CCEnhancer gathers these rules from Piriform forum and from other sources on internet.
Using CCEnhancer
Download and run the program executable (make sure CCleaner is closed before running). Download the latest rules and definitions which will be downloaded and saved to Winapp2.ini file of CCleaner. You’re done! now open CCleaner and check Applications tab more third-party application are added for cleaning.
This app can works for Portable version of CCleaner as well just make sure CCEnhancer should be in the same folder as that of CCleaner.exe for detecting correct location of path or select “Install for portable CCleaner” from Functions menu and specify the portable CCleaner executable path via Explorer.
You can delete custom rules added to winapp2.ini file from functions of the program it self. New rules and definitions released once in every week, you can set the definitions to auto update on Windows startup and you can also set CCleaner to run silently after the update from the program settings.
CCEnhancer works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
