Boray Power is a freeware portable apps lets you save power when your system is idle that means this app switches your power plan to lower one, when mouse or keyboard movement is detected (when user comes back to use the system) Boray Power switches plan to high performance one, this way you’ve more responsive PC and you’re also saving power when the system is idle.
If you don’t know about power plans in Windows, basically there are there power plans available for Power options in Control Panel.
Balanced mode for users which is enabled by default for users automatically balances performance with energy consumption on capable hardware.
Power Saver mode Saves energy by reducing your computer’s performance where possible.
High Performance plan favors performance but may use more energy.
Using Boray Power
Download program zip file and extract its contents to a folder and run Boray Power executable. You can select power plan and idle time from the program window, for power plan: you can select higher or lower one.
Select the Power Plans and save them, now go to Power Options in Control Panel and adjust advanced settings for your plan. This program allows temporary to lock your PC in high performance or in Power saving mode.
Boray Power works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
