Built-in Windows Check Disk Utility used to check the disk drives for errors, Check Disks is freeware portable app provides GUI for the same and allows to select all or selected drives for disk checking and repair. This app just offers GUI, on running it invokes built-in Windows Check Disk Utility.
Using Check Disks
Download and extract program zip file to a folder and run the tool. This tool offers three options to check for errors for a selected drive
Check normal : This is normal check and no repairs will be done
Repair: Will repair if any detects found.
Quick NTFS (NTFS only): For NTFS drives only and performs less check for index entries
User has to select each option at a time.
Check Disks works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
