Metro Sidebar Brings Windows 8 Metro UI to Windows 7

Metro Sidebar for Windows 7 is a freeware and portable sidebar with user interface similar to that of  Windows 8 Metro UI shows User account options, Windows 7 Edition name you’re using, Operating System drive space details and you can choose your favorite browser from Opera, IE and Firefox from Metro Sidebar settings and it also will be shown on the Metro Sidebar on right side.

Using Metro Sidebar

Download and extract the program’s archive to a folder and run the Metro Sidebar executable. Metro Sidebar Settings window appears where you can change background color of sidebar by choosing differently colored Windows logo, choose your favorite browser and click “Apply” button to save settings.

You can bring this sidebar to front by right-clicking on its tray icon and selecting “Bring to front” option.
