We rely on web services like WhoIS to know the host provider, owner and other details of a domain, DomainHostingView is freeware Portable utility for Windows gathers extensive information about a domain by using series of DNS and WHOIS queries and displays the report in the program window which can be saved in HTML format and viewed in any Web Browser.
The information displayed in the report includes: the hosting company or data center that hosts the web Server, mail server and domain name server (DNS) of the specified domain, the created/changed/expire date of the domain, domain owner, domain registrar that registered the domain, list of all DNS records and more.
Using DomainHostingVew
Download and extract the tool archive to a folder and run it. Type the domain name like techdows.com without www or http prefix and click “ Go (F9) “ button or select “Get Domain Information” from File menu (you can also use F9 keyboard shortcut).
The program does take some time to collect all information about the domain, once it finishes displays the report in main window which you can save to HTML format for future reference by clicking Ctrl+ S or selecting “Save HTML Report” from the File menu.
