
Avast released pre-release version 6.0.1086 with the addition of Chrome WebRep Plugin and fixes for some issues which were present in current stable build v6.0.1000. The final build will be officially available few days later. Meanwhile you can install pre-release build over existing installation or install freshly by uninstalling current stable build.

About WebRep :
WebRep module shows reputation ratings for each site you visit in your browser (currently supports Firefox,IE and Chrome) and for the search results. WebRep rates data based on virus lab data and community input.
Installing/activating Chrome WebRep plugin from Avast
After installing this build if you can’t see WebRep icon on Chrome toolbar,
Open Avast user interface, double click to expand “Additional Protection”, select “WebRep” and click “install” link opposite to Google Chrome, you may need to restart Chrome browser for the changes to take place.
