Google released beta version of Google Chrome 10 browser with new JavaScript engine Crankshaft and added Password Sync. Chrome 10 opens settings in a tab and this tabbed options is enabled by default.
This release also includes a preliminary implementation of GPU-accelerated video. If you have a high-end graphics card you’ll see significant decrease in CPU usage, and in full screen mode CPU usage may decrease as much as 80%.
You can now synchronize your passwords along with bookmarks, extensions, preferences and themes across multiple computers . These synced passwords can be encrypted with your own secret sync passphrase. To enable sync visit “Personal Stuff” section of Chrome’s settings dialog.
Chrome’s settings dialog will open in a new tab instead of a separate dialog window, you can search for setting in the search box and Chrome will show you as you type. You can view settings page directly from your address bar by entering their own dedicated URLs for example like entering chrome://settings/personal URL will open “Personal Stuff” section in your Chrome browser.
If you don’t like tabbed options which is enabled, you can disable it easily.

This release also includes Backgrounds WebApps, WebNavigation extension API and with improved security with malware reporting and disabling outdated plugins by default.
