All modern browsers such as Chrome, Firefox 4, Opera offers Paste and Go, Paste and Search features from the address bar and search bar, where as Firefox 3 doesn’t offer or support these features, Paste and Go 3 add-on adds Paste and Go, Paste and Search features to Firefox 3 browser.
With Paste and Go feature you can able to copy links and right click on address bar and select “Paste and Go” feature to go to that page. Similarly with “Paste and Search” you can able to copy the selected text and select “Paste and Search” by right clicking on the search bar.
Paste and Go 3 offers keyboard shortcuts, for Paste and Go is Ctrl+Shift+V and for Paste and Search is Ctrl+Shift+S.
QuickDrag is an Add-on for Firefox tht requires even fewer moves than Paste and Go. Just drag and drop a link anywhere and it will open in a new tab. Drag and drop selected text and the default search engine will search for the selected term in a new tab. Been using it for years in Firefox 3.
@sut: But with QuickDrag you need to have the URL constantly visible through the open tab. With Paste and Go you can copy the URL once, then instantly load it using a hotkey rather than having to drag every time.
