Not so long Google moved Bookmarks Manager window to a tab as is the case with options menu in Google Chrome, for Google Chrome dev 10 version tabbed options menu is enabled by default. Google is made this move because in-tab options menu is easier to access when compared to old options menu, as Chrome team think so.
And if you don’t like in-tab options menu for Chrome and want to access old classic options menu you can do that by disabling tabbed options menu in Google Chrome .
All you need to do is add –disable-tabbed-options switch after Chrome.exe in the Target field for Google Chrome desktop shortcut.
Any idea how to turn off tabbed options/preferences in Chrome for Mac?
I think it’s completely awful. Especially aesthetically.
