When you visit today’s Google homepage you will see Google’s new year doodle with GMMXIe image wishing you a happy new year 2011 with fireworks in the background. This doodle may surprise and teases you to know GMMXIe meaning, it’s not new with Google, Google always comes up with something creative and puzzling doodles on festivals and events like this which you have to find out,  GMMXIe in doodle is roman numeral for 2011 and is MMXI.

With MMXI being roman numerals placed between G and e.

MM= 2000, MMX=2010, MMXI= 2011
