How to Find Any PC’s Serial Number and Model Number

It’s always difficult to find the model number and serial number of branded Computers like HP, Acer, Lenovo etc. which sometimes requires us to download drivers for a particular Model PC. But do you know with two simple DOS commands we can able to retrieve any branded computer’s serial and model number, here is how.

dos command to retrieve Computer serial number and Model number

1.Open Command prompt, and type wmic bios get serialnumber to retrieve the serial number of PC.

2. Type wmic csproduct get name to get the Computer model name and number.
