
Slowly and steadily email service providers looking to provide more security features as Gmail already offers encrypted Gmail for everyone by default, Microsoft Windows live will soon to roll out SSL encryption between live users and their servers during entire hotmail session.
Windows Live already providing SSL encryption to all live login accounts.That means hotmail will be encrypted when you are logging into hotmail with live ID and password .But once you logged in encryption will not be applied.Soon hotmail users to get SSL encryption during their entire session.

That is good news for hotmail users.There will be downsides of SSL encryption as well, data will not travel between servers as fast as unencrypted data.
So for now all hotmail users can able to sign in in with enhanced security (SSL) by clicking use enhanced security [SSL] at the bottom of the Windows live login page.
