How to Uninstall Microsoft Download Manager(MDM)

I installed and used for Microsoft Download Manager for some time, which lacks support for other popular browsers like Chrome, Opera, since I am already using fully featured Internet Download manager from a long time back, I thought, I should  avoid conflicts and let IDM take control of all download stuff, so I decided to uninstall Microsoft Download Manager, here is how to do it on your computer.

Uninstalling Microsoft Download Manager from Windows 7

1.Click Start button>Control Panel>Programs

2. Click uninstall a program, from list of installed programs select ‘Microsoft Download Manager’, right click on it and click Uninstall and follow the instructions on the screen.

3. Windows will uninstall Microsoft Download Manager from your Computer.

Uninstalling MDM in Windows XP

  • Click Start button>Control Panel>Add or remove programs
  • Select Microsoft Download Manager and click remove.
