Network Connections folder in Windows 7 allows to view information about status of connections, data transmitted and received, user can also able to perform diagnostic tasks like enabling,disabling connections.If you are a user who need to access Network Connections folder quite frequently,better you need to create shortcut for it which saves time.
For every Ethernet Adapter installed in your computer, there will be a connection created by Windows.Once you have network connection you can set up network , internet connection or VPN connection.
Creating shortcut for Network Connections Folder
1.Right click on the desktop, browse for New>Shortcut.
2.In the Window shown paste the below as it
explorer.exe ::{7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}
3.Click Next and name it as Network Connections, click Finish. Choose desired icon for Network Connections by right clicking on it, Properties and selecting icon, Since default created Icon won’t look good.
From now access Network Connections folder right from desktop.
