I am using AVG Anti-Virus Free edition since a long time and I am very happy with its performance so far.AVG Anti-virus protects your Computer from latest viruses, spywares ,Trojans and also very effective USB drive viruses.
Here I am sharing some of AVG’s tips and tricks
TIP#1.Remove viruses automatically while scanning your Computer and USB drives
By default automatic healing of infections is not enabled in AVG Anti-virus, we have to enable it so as to make the process automate. This will save time as your interaction is not required while scanning your computer or removable media such as USB drives to remove infection found during the scan.
To enable automatic healing of infection
Open AVG user interface>Tools>scans>enable automatically heal/remove infections for 4 predefined scan items on the left panel by selecting them individually.Enabling removable media scan also very important as AVG effectively removes USB drive viruses automatically very quickly.
