Generally, we use the default cursor as the mouse pointer, what if you want to use your photo as a mouse pointer? It will be a nice experience, we already know we can use our favorite picture as drive icon for a USB drive, then here is how to use our favorite picture as mouse pointer.
1. First of all we need to convert our photo to an icon.
2. To convert an Image to icon, we can use the cool website Bradicon.
3. After converting the image to an icon, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse >Pointers and from ‘Browse’, choose the path to the icon we just converted, select files of type as ‘All Files’ and click ‘OK’ to save the changes.
4. From now onwards, your favorite image is the cursor which you are going to use.
5. If you want to revert back to the default cursor, select ‘Use Default’ in ‘mouse Pointers options’ in ‘Mouse properties’.
Summary: Mouse pointer is of icon type, we converted our favorite photo to icon and then used it as a mouse pointer using pointers in mouse properties in Control Panel.
