Generally, after downloading the Chrome Setup file, when you double click to open it the Chrome installer will run. Fix Google Chrome Installer doesn’t run
- Open Registry Editor by typing Regedit in Run command dialog
- Navigate toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
- Delete GoogleUpdate.exe key
Now try to run Chrome Setup file, the installer will be launched, Chrome will be downloaded and installed on your computer without any issues.
