Foxit Reader 8.0
Linking Dropbox account with Foxit Reader
After adding Google Drive and OneDrive support, the company has integrated Dropbox as well. To get started, click File > Open > “Add A place’ and choose ‘Dropbox’, sign into your Dropbox account with your username and password. After linking Dropbox with Foxit Reader (you need to give permission as well for this) you can able to open PDF files hosted in Dropbox from Foxit Reader > open dialog.
This version has added touch mode support for the touch-screen devices.
New auto-save feature added to this version, automatically saves a PDF file for every 5 minutes, helpful in case of system crash or power failure. You can configure this by opening Preferences > Documents > Save Setting.
Foxit Reader 8 improves the support for the SharePoint 2016 version and preserves formatting when copying tables from PDFs.
This new version fixes some security and stability issues as well. So you must update from v7.3.4 to v8.0 to stay safe and protected when using PDFs. The changelog for this version is available over here.
