KB3081455 update install issues

We’ve been able to install this without any issues, however, some reported on answers forums they’re having problems in installing the update.

One said “The system claims that a Windows Update (KB3081455) is available, but when I try to install it, the progress bar gets to 5% and then I get the error as noted in the subject (Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081455) – Error 0x80073712).  ”

While others say Windows 10 fails to install previous updates KB3081448, KB3081449, and the new KB3081455.

UPDATE:For users, Windows Update prompts to restart the computer to install the update, after the restart instead of showing ‘updates were installed’ (something like that) it shows  a notification:’We couldn’t finish installing updates select this message to learn more’.

Run sfc /scannow command and try to check for updates again. This has worked for some.
