Google Software Removal tool gets a name change. Back  in September 2014, Google has launched Software Removal Tool (available for Windows only) to detect and remove programs that cause trouble to the Chrome browser. Google Software Removal Tool is now available with a new and an appropriate name, its ‘Chrome Cleanup Tool’.

Google has updated SRT download page and help page to reflect this change. But when you download and run the program,  its name will still be shown as Software Removal Tool. The functionality hasn’t been changed, everything remains the same except the name change.
