CCleaner 5.01 version has been released and available for download with new Disk Analyzer tool, you can find this in the Tools section. This tool after running shows which types of files taking the most disk space on your hard drive, so that you can clean those areas.
Using Disk Analyzer tool in CCleaner
To get started, download and install this version on your computer, and run it. Go to Tools, you can see newly added Disk Analyzer tool below Startup, select it, select a category or categories from Pictures, Music, Documents, Video, Compressed, Email and Everything, (all are pre-checked by default except the last three) and drive, for the tool to perform the scan, and click on ‘Analyze’ button.
When the results are shown, select a category, review the files for that category in the below pane and delete them (individual or all) using the options provided on the right click menu.
Tip: To select all files for deletion, checkmark the ‘Name’.
Apart from the addition of this tool, this version has improved cleaning for Firefox 34 and Opera history and has Optimized memory and CPU usage.
