AVG has released its 2015 range – AVG Antivirus Free 2015, AVG Antivirus Professional 2015, AVG Internet Security 2015- these are available for download from AVG website. AVG 2015 brings a new interface, with circles design. Partial circle for functions or modules on the interface, means, some protection features are not activated or installed, whereas, full circle means, you’ve fully covered.
Grayed out circle means (for instance, in free version, Firewall will be depicted like that) that feature or component was not installed or activated on your computer.
AVG Antivirus Free 2015
AVG has now got you covered against zero-day threats with its Outbreak Detection technology. It takes some time for security vendors to prepare definitions when they come to know about a new threat, after thorough testing and detection, they deliver them to users, in the meantime, user on the system could be affected by that threat.
That’s where AVG’s Outbreak Detection comes into action, where it pushes its earliest detection methods of threat to cloud-based threat database and protects user on the system when he/she come across threat by detecting, blocking and quarantining with behavioral detection methods.
Revamped easier-to-use interface
No new features
Too many processes of AVG run in the background, AVG hasn’t put any effort in reducing their count from 2014 version.
