With Snagit 11.3 release, TechSmith has made available Google Chrome extension for their Screen Capturing application on the Chrome Web Store. Recently, ability to record screen has been added to the extension. Till now, to record videos you need to use the app, where for image captures you need to switch to the extension, this is somewhat confusing for the user, and TechSmith has put an end to this.
Today, Snagit for Chrome extension has been updated to make workflow for captures and recordings lot easier than before, you can now capture images and record videos from the extension.
With this update, you can now save screen recording done under 20 seconds as animated GIF.
"We wanted to make that easier for people and we’re excited to announce that we’ve added animated GIF production support in Snagit for Google Chrome! You’ll have the option to save all screen recordings under 20 seconds as an animated GIF" Kelly Rush, Product owner for Snagit for Chrome team said in TechSmith blog.
