If you’re already using the popular Internet Download Manager (IDM) to download files to your computer, then you should know IDM offers a setting which, when enabled, turns off your computer automatically when downloading is complete, this is especially useful when you’re downloading large files like Windows 7 integrated SP1 ISO or Windows 8 (enterprise) ISO– where they can consume a good amount of time on low-speed internet connections.

For example, you can initiate download at night and IDM shutdowns your system without requiring your intervention, which saves power and you can work on other things or go to bed at night timings.
