CCleaner version 4.05 has been released for Windows and available for download from Piriform site. CCleaner now cleans Event Logs that are recorded by Windows which are used by advanced users for troubleshooting purposes.

CCleaner 4.05 version has added support for Windows Server 2012 R2 Preview and enhanced Intelligent Cookie scan that keeps persistent logins for websites. This version has also improved Internet Explorer 11 and QuickTime cleaning.

How to clean Windows Event Logs using CCleaner?

Download and install CCleaner 4.05 on your computer and run it. You should know that, by default CCleaner doesn’t cleans Event Logs when you run it until you select it from Advanced Section on Windows tab. By the way, you can view all Event Logs by opening Event Viewer by typing eventvwr.msc command in Run dialog box.
